Children

Oh my goodness. Yesterday, on the bus, on my way to my mom's house, there was one of the worst kids I have seen in a long time. It was terrible. And the mom, I have no idea what she was thinking. I never get too upset about what the kids do, what they say to me, etc., I look at the parent. The bible says to "train up a child in the way they should go".....to me that means, if you want your child to go somewhere in life and be somebody, you need to train them, and train them right. The bible also says that "he who spares the rod hates his son, but he who chasteneth his son loves him". And of course, people want to get crazy and think it's talking about a real rod, but it's just talking about correction and discipline. There's another scripture in the bible that says "spare the rod and spoil the child" but I couldn't find it, so I might be misquoting. But all these scriptures really mean is that if you don't discipline your child, somebody will. Whether it be the police, a judge in a courtroom, a parole officer. I say it's better to discipline your child yourself, because at least you are doing it in love, but when somebody else has to come out and discipline your child, they probably aren't going to do it in love. That's why they sometimes they call jails and prisons correctional facilities, because nobody took the time to correct, until they wind up in a place like that. So anyway, that's all I wanted to say.
